Meet the Founder

Hi, I am Debbie Dixon, the proud founder of Peace of Mind Home Watch Services.

For over 14 years, I worked as a licensed Real Estate agent in Raleigh, North Carolina, specializing in property management. Throughout my career, I developed a strong eye for detail and a deep understanding of what it takes to care for and protect residential properties. I've built strong relationships with homeowners by providing reliable service, clear communication, and a proactive approach to managing their investments.

In July of 2025, my husband and I moved to the beautiful Lake Keowee area to begin a new chapter. As we settled into our new home, I quickly realized something important: many of our neighbors—and many homes throughout the area—are second homes, often left vacant for extended periods. With my background in property management, I immediately recognized the risks and concerns that come with leaving a home unattended.

That insight inspired me to start Peace of Mind Home Watch Services—a business dedicated to giving second-home owners true peace of mind while they’re away. Drawing on my years of experience, I know exactly what to look for during property checks—whether it’s spotting early signs of water damage, HVAC issues, security concerns, or other maintenance problems that could become costly if left unnoticed.
